This Advertising Cancellation, Delivery & Refund Policy explains how campaign funds are handled when a POLIREUM Marketing campaign is cancelled, modified, paused, rejected, ends early, or does not fully deliver.
This policy applies to advertising purchased through POLIREUM Marketing, including digital billboards and any future advertising channels such as connected TV, streaming audio, display, native advertising, and other supported media.
POLIREUM Marketing is separate from POLIREUM subscriptions, AI credits, music distribution, storefront transactions, and other services, which may be governed by separate terms and refund policies.
By funding a POLIREUM Marketing campaign, you agree to this policy and the version of this policy in effect at the time the campaign is funded.
1. What you pay for
When you fund a POLIREUM Marketing campaign, your payment may consist of two separate amounts:
• Media Budget
• POLIREUM Marketing Service Fee
These amounts are shown separately before you approve payment.
Media Budget
Your Media Budget is the amount reserved for purchasing advertising placements, impressions, plays, screen time, or other media inventory for your campaign.
Your funded Media Budget is a hard spending ceiling. POLIREUM will not authorize an advertising provider to spend more than the Media Budget you funded unless you explicitly approve and pay for additional campaign funding.
POLIREUM Marketing Service Fee
The POLIREUM Marketing Service Fee covers services that may include campaign setup, campaign configuration, media buying, inventory selection, creative handling, creative review, scheduling, provider coordination, campaign management, reporting, delivery tracking, proof-of-play processing and campaign support.
The applicable Media Budget, Marketing Service Fee, and total amount due are shown before payment.
2. When the Marketing Service Fee becomes earned
The POLIREUM Marketing Service Fee becomes earned once POLIREUM begins material campaign work.
Material campaign work may include campaign configuration, creative processing or review, advertising-provider submission, inventory reservation, media scheduling, screen or placement selection, campaign trafficking, campaign activation, or other substantive campaign preparation.
If you cancel before POLIREUM begins material campaign work, the Marketing Service Fee may be refundable.
Once material campaign work has begun, all or part of the Marketing Service Fee may be non-refundable, subject to applicable law.
If a campaign has already been submitted to an advertising provider, scheduled, reserved, or activated, the Marketing Service Fee is considered earned unless POLIREUM determines otherwise or applicable law requires a refund.
3. Cancellation before advertising begins
If you cancel a campaign before any advertising has been delivered:
• Unused Media Budget that has not been committed, reserved, or made non-refundable by an advertising provider is refundable.
• If POLIREUM has not begun material campaign work, the POLIREUM Marketing Service Fee may also be refundable.
• If POLIREUM has already performed material campaign work, the Marketing Service Fee may be considered earned.
• If an advertising provider has already imposed a non-refundable reservation, booking, cancellation, production, or inventory commitment charge, that amount may be deducted from the refundable Media Budget.
• Payment-processing charges may also be non-refundable to the extent POLIREUM does not recover those charges from the payment processor.
Nothing in this section limits refund rights that cannot legally be waived.
4. Campaign changes
You may request changes to a campaign before or during its scheduled run, subject to availability and provider requirements.
Changes may include campaign dates, markets, locations, screens, targeting, budget, creative, campaign duration, advertising channel, or other campaign settings.
Requested changes may affect pricing, availability, delivery, inventory reservations, provider charges and campaign timing.
If a requested change requires additional Media Budget, POLIREUM will not increase your campaign spending ceiling until you explicitly approve and pay for the additional amount.
If a requested change results in provider cancellation, rebooking, reservation, or other non-refundable charges, those amounts may reduce any Media Budget otherwise eligible for refund.
5. Campaigns that are already running
Once advertising has been delivered, the corresponding media spend is generally non-refundable.
If you cancel or pause a campaign after it begins running:
• Advertising already delivered is not refundable.
• Advertising inventory already irrevocably committed, reserved, booked, or purchased by an advertising provider may not be refundable.
• Media Budget that remains unused and uncommitted may be refundable.
• The POLIREUM Marketing Service Fee is considered earned once the campaign is live, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
6. How unused media is calculated
The amount potentially available for refund is based on the campaign's funded Media Budget and actual provider activity.
POLIREUM may calculate refundable Media Budget as funded Media Budget, minus delivered media, minus non-refundable provider commitments, minus previous refunds, minus applicable adjustments.
Example:
• Funded Media Budget: $100
• Delivered media: $60
• Non-refundable provider commitments: $10
• Potentially refundable Media Budget: $30
Final refund amounts may not be known immediately because POLIREUM may need to wait for final delivery, reconciliation, settlement, or reporting data from the advertising provider.
7. Partial delivery
A campaign may end without using its entire Media Budget. This may occur because inventory became unavailable, a digital screen went offline, a campaign was paused, there was insufficient eligible inventory, a provider had technical issues, schedules changed, creative was rejected, market conditions changed, the campaign expired, or other delivery limitations applied.
If a campaign ends without fully using its funded Media Budget, the portion that remains unused and uncommitted may be refunded to the original payment method, or, where available and at your request, converted into POLIREUM Marketing campaign credit.
Any non-refundable provider charges may first be deducted.
8. POLIREUM Marketing campaign credit
Where POLIREUM offers campaign credit as an alternative to a cash refund, the credit will be associated with the same POLIREUM account.
Campaign credit may only be used for eligible future POLIREUM Marketing campaigns, and is not transferable between accounts unless POLIREUM expressly permits otherwise.
Any expiration date, restrictions, or additional terms applicable to campaign credit will be disclosed before you choose credit instead of a refund.
POLIREUM will not automatically convert refundable funds into campaign credit without your approval where applicable.
9. What counts as delivered advertising
POLIREUM relies on advertising-provider reporting and delivery records to determine media delivery.
Depending on the advertising channel, records may include proof-of-play records, impression logs, screen playback records, placement reports, campaign delivery reports, streaming delivery records, advertising-provider logs, or other provider-generated delivery data.
For digital billboard campaigns, proof-of-play records may be used where available.
Provider delivery records are used to calculate campaign delivery, spent Media Budget, and remaining funds.
10. Rejected or non-compliant creative
Advertising creative may be rejected by POLIREUM, an advertising provider, media owner, screen operator, publisher, network, or other advertising partner.
Reasons may include copyright concerns, trademark concerns, lack of required rights, illegal content, prohibited products or services, misleading claims, technical specifications, provider policies, platform policies, advertising standards, or other legal or compliance concerns.
If creative is rejected, you may be given an opportunity to replace or revise the creative. If you choose to cancel instead:
• Unused and uncommitted Media Budget may be refundable.
• Media already delivered or irrevocably committed is not refundable.
• The POLIREUM Marketing Service Fee may remain earned to the extent POLIREUM has already performed material campaign work.
11. Campaigns cancelled or paused by POLIREUM
POLIREUM may reject, cancel, suspend, or pause a campaign where reasonably necessary, including for suspected fraud, payment disputes, chargebacks, rights disputes, copyright or trademark concerns, illegal or prohibited content, misrepresentation, advertising-provider requirements, technical issues, security concerns, violation of POLIREUM policies, violation of provider policies, or legal or regulatory requirements.
If a campaign is cancelled for reasons caused by the creator, refundable amounts will be determined under this policy.
If POLIREUM cancels a campaign for reasons not caused by the creator:
• Unused and uncommitted Media Budget will generally be refunded.
• POLIREUM may also refund the portion of the Marketing Service Fee associated with material services that were not performed.
• Amounts already spent, delivered, or irrevocably committed to advertising providers may remain non-refundable.
12. Provider reservations and commitments
Some advertising providers may reserve inventory or incur costs before advertising is actually displayed or delivered. These charges may include screen reservations, inventory commitments, booking fees, cancellation fees, production fees, rebooking fees, or other provider charges.
If these charges are non-refundable to POLIREUM and were incurred for your campaign, they may be deducted from otherwise refundable Media Budget.
POLIREUM will not intentionally charge more than the actual provider commitment associated with the campaign.
13. Payment processing fees
Payment processors may charge POLIREUM transaction fees when you fund a campaign. Some processors do not return all processing fees when a payment is refunded.
Where permitted by law, payment-processing costs that are not returned to POLIREUM may be excluded from a refund. POLIREUM may record actual payment-processing costs associated with a campaign.
14. How refunds are issued
Approved cash refunds are generally returned to the original payment method where technically possible.
Refund processing times depend on the payment processor, your bank, your card issuer, the payment method used, and provider settlement timing.
POLIREUM may need to wait for advertising-provider reconciliation or final delivery reports before calculating the final refundable amount.
Each refund will be recorded against the applicable campaign. POLIREUM's internal records may identify whether a refund relates to unused Media Budget, the Marketing Service Fee, a provider adjustment, a billing correction, a campaign credit conversion, or another adjustment.
15. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you dispute a campaign payment through your bank, card issuer, payment provider, or other financial institution, POLIREUM may pause affected campaigns while the dispute is reviewed.
POLIREUM may also temporarily restrict new advertising purchases associated with the disputed payment until the matter is resolved.
If a chargeback occurs after POLIREUM or an advertising provider has already purchased or delivered advertising on your behalf, POLIREUM may seek recovery of amounts already spent or otherwise owed, to the extent permitted by law.
This section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
16. Campaign top-ups
If additional campaign funding is needed, POLIREUM may offer you the option to add additional Media Budget.
Top-ups require your explicit approval and successful payment. POLIREUM will never automatically increase your funded Media Budget or authorize provider spending beyond your funded campaign limit without approval.
Each top-up may be separately recorded in the campaign's financial ledger.
17. Requesting a refund
To request a refund or ask a question about campaign funds, contact POLIREUM through the in-app support or contact system.
Please include your campaign name, campaign ID where available, the reason for your request, and any relevant supporting information.

18. Policy version applicable to your campaign
Advertising-provider rules, inventory requirements, technologies, and settlement practices may change over time. POLIREUM may update this Advertising Cancellation, Delivery & Refund Policy.
The version of this policy in effect when you fund a campaign will govern that funded campaign unless applicable law requires otherwise. POLIREUM stores the applicable policy version with the campaign transaction.
19. Applicable law
Nothing in this policy limits any refund, cancellation, chargeback, consumer-protection, or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be waived. If applicable law gives you greater rights than those described in this policy, applicable law controls.
20. Relationship to other POLIREUM terms
This policy governs POLIREUM Marketing campaign funding, delivery, cancellations, and refunds.
Your use of POLIREUM Marketing is also subject to the POLIREUM Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, acceptable-use requirements, intellectual-property rules, advertising policies, and other applicable POLIREUM terms.
If there is a conflict between this policy and a campaign-specific written agreement entered into by POLIREUM, that written agreement may control to the extent stated in the agreement and permitted by law.
