Questions artists ask
Is POLIREUM cheaper than DistroKid?
It depends on how much you release. If you put out a handful of tracks a year, paying once per track usually costs less over time — and nothing is due later. If you release dozens of tracks every year, DistroKid's unlimited plan can be cheaper. Use the calculator above with your own numbers.
What happens to my music if I stop paying?
On POLIREUM, once a release is paid for, it stays live even if you change or cancel your plan. DistroKid's yearly plan has to stay active to keep your music in stores.
Can I move my catalog from DistroKid?
Yes. Create a new release on POLIREUM with the same audio and details, and use your existing ISRC codes to keep your stream history. Take the old release down only after the new one is live, so there's no gap.
Does POLIREUM take a cut of my royalties?
No. POLIREUM takes 0% of your streaming royalties.
